My licsencse is expiring pleas read?

ok i have bad eyes i were my glases only to read i drive perfect day or night but i casnt pass the eye test iv never worn contacts i i purches contact leanses and were then to dmv to take the eye test and renew my licsencse will they know?i know it may not be a safe idea but pleas tell me if they will find out ???thank you

If you can see distance fine you should be able to pass the eye exam. It's not a written (like reading from a book) test. You need to read far away so you should be fine unless you can't see that far in which case you need to look up your particular state's limits on what the minimum visual acuity is. Some states have a range at which you can have a restricted license (meaning no driving at night or highways) if you can't pass the DMV visual exam.

I wear contacts and glasses. if you need them to read or pass the eye test you just need to let them know you are wearing corective lenses and the will probable require you use them when you drive. If you have an accident and you are not wear them you can be held liable regardless of whose at fault. remember you can loose you driving privilages and could end up pay a lot money out of pocket if your insurance decides to drop you because of it.

DMV doesn't care if you pass the eye test with glasses or contacts. If you can't pass the test with glasses how in the world are contacts going to make a difference. Besides if you lie to DMV and get caught,It's called perjury.

you can take the eye test are your doctor so you can pass it most easily there and give the note to the dmv and your be excused from the eye test there.

I doubt they would know as long as you can lie well enough.  You could just wear glasses when you drive.  It might be safer for the rest of us.
