Question:

My life basically sucks?

I know that some people will say that I sound stuck up with this question, but then those people don't have to answer. It's not like I'm homeless, or am starving, or anything like that, but still. My parents are basically bankrupt. I hurt my foot and now I can't walk but my friends are telling me to suck it up and now are like ignoring me. I missed half of my second day of school to get a ex-ray. I'm personally broke. I was going to buy a treadmill or a trampoline to help me lose weight, but now I come back to the foot thing. I have no idea what to do. Oh, I forgot one thing: Almost everyone at my school like hates me, or ignores me, or thinks I'm annoying. I only have like 1 friend and she's kind of acting weird too. What should I do??

P.S. Right now, my biggest concern is what people are going to say to me tomorrow because my mom took me out 3rd period to take me to the doctor but I didn't ask her to nor did I want her to. I know that people are going to be like "Why did you go get an ex-ray, just suck it up like a normal person." or just be like "That's stupid". Any help???!!!??

  1. i'm sincerely sorry you are in high school. i used to feel like you do every day. i graduated in june and have never been happier. students and teachers alike are a good percent of the time heartless jerks.

when i was in high school i just got a boyfriend and talked to him and only a few other close friends, i pretty much completely ignored everyone else. i was social with them, but i didnt care about them at all nor what they had to say. now i'm outta there and never have to see them again!! so like i tell my little sister, s***w them, you wont even remember who the h**l they are in a few years.

  2. Be happy about yourself for you not anyone else. Only you can truly make yourself happy.

  3. WAAAAAAAH

  4. Sometimes it's not what's around you, but the way you think can be interpreted incorrectly.  I was a loner in high school, hard of hearing I had a few friends, but changed my attitude, started to realize how important I am, not as much as what people think or you believe they think.  You mention weight, your parents, your foot, but you have to seek faith in yourself and overlook those.

My mother raised 3 kids on her own, plumbing sometimes consisted of a bucket in the backyard.  It wasn't funny then but it makes you stronger.  People love you, you just need to look outside to look in.  I don't know if that helps, I'm in my mid 40's but been through similar situations, however many moons later, I put myself through college, had a good military career (even with the loss of hearing), work with computers, and happy with my life now, the fact that you are seeking answers, shows that you have a drive to succeed, if you feel knocked down, just pull yourself back up again, you can do it.

  5. What are you so worried about?

I remember the pressure in high school to feel like if I wasn't popular I was a nobody. I was completely fine with that though and the few friends I had were in band (i was in marching band).

Honestly, after leaving high school, I haven't talked to a single one of them much less seen them since the last day of school. That will be 10 years ago next May.

My point? School will be over in a shorter amount of time then you think. Once it is, you can live your life and not worry about this petty stuff. I know it seems important now...but its not and I say this with the greatest kindness I know. I am a very heartfelt person and I feel sympathy for those who are suffering but honestly, if people are going to give you c**p instead of sympathy for you being hurt, then these people aren't worth your time.

    Take care hon.

  6. who cares what they think ! i was picked on every day when i was in school!

and if they say anyting like why did you get a x-ray just say because i care to know what is going on so why not plus i got out of school and you were well stuck here!  poor me!~  poor me! lol

I don't think your stuck up i just don't think you have experinced other options in your life to see what sucks and what dont!

oddly enought i said the same thing all throught most of my schooling and into my 20's wasn't untill about 26 did i wake up to what everyone told me!

life is what I want it to be and nothing more nothing less! and it shows as you get older!

just don't stress about it! life changes one way or another either by you or by somoene else!

  7. They're telling you to suck it up like they would, means that they know that they themselves really suck! Since you went to get an x-ray means that you do not suck!

Seriously, it is not your life that sucks, but it's high school that sucks. Go ask any adult whom you like and most will tell you that they hated high school. High school will only be a tiny part of your overall life and things definitely get better after high school!

Take care of yourself and don't worry about the critics!
