My lil 10 pound dog just ate 1/2 cup of fish food?

I have a puppy that just turned 13 weeks old she ate a bottle i just let her drink some water and called the vet she said that tink my puppy would be fine! she is only like a pond or 2!

i think that will be fine because my little dog ate worse than that. such as rolos, gum, medicine, and shes fine.

She will probably have loose stool for a while. Have her drink a lot of water (to dilute the fish food) and call your vet. She should be okay though. Look at the ingredients on your fish food. Most of the time fish food is fish based (meaning that it is mainly made of fish) so you shouldn't have problems. But, better safe than sorry always check with your vet if you are unsure.

How did she get the fish food to begin with? You should keep it where she can't get to it.

Keep an eye on her, and watch for signs of nausea (l*****g chops will be the big one). If you're super concerned, find an emergency clinic, or give her a couple of CC's of Hydrogen Peroxide to make her vomit.

yea the dog will be fine. believe it or not fish food and dog food are almost the same thing LOL i second the throwing him into a pool tho sounds like the dog might have an identity crisis
