My lil bro loves2play w/ shaving cream but since it's expensive, can I make something similar to it?

At bathtime my little brother loves to play with shaving cream. He wipes it on the walls and stuff and will write his name with it and everything, he has a blast. But, since it's so exspensive, is there a way I could make something similar to it? Like, perhaps out of things I could buy at my local Kmart or something. Any ideas?

There are types of foaming soap that are cheaper also there are special containers that are made to make foam things like whip cream.

There's expensive shaving cream, but there's also cheap. I think Colgate makes some that's around a dollar a can. Let him play with that instead of the expensive one that you're using.

what I do for my kids is buy the foaming kids hand soap or body wash. I also buy a cheap bottle of body wash to refil it with. You put about 1/3 water and 2/3 soap in it and swirl it around to mix it. you can get 2 or 3 refils from one 12-16 ounce body wash bottle.

try mixing Lux flakes (they are pure soap flakes, may have a different name in your country). mix to a paste. You can even add a few drops of food dye

There is a childs shaving set with the cream an fake razor at letterbox.co.uk ( but I dont think its pratical idea) other than that there is a range of foam soap for children that is 100% child safe.

Also if you say he writes his name with it crayola do bathroom crayons and paints which is also wipable and can be used in the bath aswell

Oh yes, shaving cream is so much fun! My kids love it too.

Try the generic brands or look at a bulk store like costco or BJs.
