My limewire still doesn't work, whats wrong??

so it says that i'm connected to the network, but it only has 1 green bar. so its low (the network). but my internaet work great. i have no shared files because i haven't downloaded music. and my firewall is up to protect my computer. So i uninstalled my lime wire which was ver. 2000-2007.i downloaded 2008. but it still says it doesnt work. what do i do?

well for starters, did u open limewire, and let it run for a few mins (to an hour), before you begin searching?

this tip works for me, for whenever i search and it never finds anything.

- limewire wont work if you dont install java runtime environment, you can download it in:



www.java.com,

after that, run ur lime wire,wait a minutes,then it will works properly,and if your firewalled are on, turn it off...
