  Never use product that has petroleum in it... Dries out your skin. Use, EVO, cod liver oil,  mother nature is your best source..

drink a liter of water each day and stop using lip balm as soon as any cuts on your lips heal.

if you keep using lip balm, your body stops producing natural lubricants in your lip area.

i use this lip balm called burt's bees and it seems to make everything better. no matter how dry my lips are it always makes my lips better.

when your brushing your teeth in the morning, gently use your tooth brush (when it doesnt have paste on it) to exfoliate your lips. then use carmax

use lip balm, not GLOSS, but BALM.  Try Blistex medicated lip balm.

Dry lips happen when you don't drink enough clear water. It happened to me sometimes & I used ice cubes! It really works eventhough it's pretty cold. It softens the lips too. & i'd end up eating the ice. haha..well i only use ice cubes on my lips at home. Another way is by using a neutrogena lip balm-it's medicated & i used it whenever i go out.

i think its called neutrogena norwegian hand lotion. i know its neutrogena. i have it, and it works really well. u can use it on ur lips 2. surprisingly, lip smackers chapstick works well too. i have a whole set of soda flavored ones:-)

Are you a mouth breather?  I used to do it without realizing it and my lips were always dry no matter what.  Turns out my mouth breathing was due to congestion caused by allergies.  Once I started taking allergy medication (zyrtec-d), my dry lips problem disappeared.
