i remember my 3rd grader 2 years ago, with long hair, circle shaped glasses, pink dresses, and baby doll bangs.

now, i see my soon to be 5th grader with short, spunky hair, swifty side bangs, contacts, skinny jeans, and graphic tees.

what's going on??? how could this happen? what can i do to stop this? I'm afraid it will get worse!!!

  1. im 16. a junior in high school. my moms still treating my like im 2:  "gotta go potty?" and just a bunch of other embarrassing stuff. just let her grow up. but if you dont like the way she dresses/hair, dont buy the clothes for her/pay for the hair. shes too young for a job...she'll be forced to do as you wish.

its what happens mommy. we all grow up eventually.

  2. Go to a therapist.

    THANKS FOR THE 2 POINTS.

  3. You can't stop it, she's growing up.

  4. omgosh b4 u know it she'll start wearing bras, makeup, and she'll get her period! let's freak out!

  5. It happens... she's growing up. Tough, I know. My parents can hardly believe I'm going into high school already.

  6. haha, sounds like me, its fun being punk..!

embrace it, your kid's gonna be the coolest kid in the class..

  7. Troll, it hungers

  8. Lay off the Miracle Grow!!  Lol , awww, she is growing up !

  9. You really are clueless

  10. don't buy her clothes like that until she's 13, that's a simple soultion.  buy her regular jeans and the graphic tees, you should buy a nice shirt instead.

but you should know she would be growing up, it's a part of life, how do you think your parents felt when you were doing the same thing?

  11. She's getting older.  Your daughter is just becoming more mature and finding what style she's into.  She's going through a personality change, just like almost every girl her age.  You can't stop it because it's her life, her choicer, her hormones and her growth.  It may get worse, or she may end up a preppy girly girl.  At that age many girls go through phases, so you should just go along with what she's doing.  As long as her grades are up and she's focusing on school, there should be no problem.  She is making a statement about herself and what she likes.  Your daughter needs her freedom and wants to be independent...  You should have known this was going to happen when you got pregnant and found out it was going to be a girl.  She's becoming a teenager, and you can't stop that!!

  12. um you should have known this was going to happen when you gave birth.

  13. it IS going to get worse and there is nothing you can do about it..sorry..

  14. its the new in, you really cant stop it,

but it seriously is more like 12-19 yr olds that dress and look liek taht, not 10 yr olds...

it probably will get worse, because of all the trends now days, but  eyeliner is the next stop so hold on to that while you can

  15. nothing you can do to stop it. just be happy that shes wearing skinny jeans and graphic tees instead of mini skirts and a belly shirts.

  17.
