It sounds like you have past issues that still plague you.  What happened to you when you were eight years old?  If you are that worried about what two little kids are going to do, keep your child at home.  Get some help for your unwarrented worries.  This just isn't right.

Maybe the parents at the sleepover will have them sleep with their feet facing eachother like ones head will be on the opposite end as the other.

Thats what me and my friend did when we had sleep overs, but we were a little older.

If your really that worried about it, maybe you shouldnt have agreed to it in the first place. Maybe you could call the parents and ask to have them sleep on the floor like a mini campp out. If you are really that uncomfortable having your boy in the same bed as his friend then you should do something about it.

He will be fine. He will eat, play, watch movies, stay up late talking about stuff that 8 year olds like. If he is terribly curious he won't wait until a sleepover to sneak a peek at someone elses "junk" for comparison purposes. It's part of growing up and nothing to flip out about.

There is a BIG difference between a curious 8 year old and a freak. Do you know the family? Do they seem nice? Deliver him to their home, and let him know that where ever he is your rules apply. My parting words always were, "You know what's right and wrong. Make sure you do whats right. Remember I love you and MOST OF ALL - have fun!" Then big hug and kiss and he was gone. Many times they slept in the same bed - no big deal UNLESS YOU MAKE IT A BIG DEAL. So don't.
