My little boy wont stop dropping his pants and peeing? what should i do.?

I have tried everything. spanked him, no dessert, and more! But what should i do?

Tell him to stop or you will take his most prized privilege away. Tell him that if he has to urinate to go to the restroom. This is a common behavior for little boys.

You could try clothes pinning his pants to his shirt. i dont know how old he is but it also means that he could be ready for potty training.

i say as long as he is like 3 or 2 let him do it. just encourage him to do better. spanking is not the way! when i was a small boy i used to run to the fence on the ballpark! encouragement is the BEST! Good luckk!

Is he doing it in the house or just outside? If its only outside then that seems to be something boys do. Its like a rite of passage or something. lol

If he is doing it in the house, is the potty close to where he is? You may just need to put a potty in his play room or just outside the door. Babies are used to peeing as soon as they realize they need to. He knows now that he has to go soon enough to get his pants down but its possible he either doesn't know how to hold it in or thinks he can't long enough to get to the potty.

Keep the potty close to him until he realizes he can get to one and reward him every time he uses it.

How old is he? You didn't say and that can make a big difference.

How old is he?  If he is 15 I say he needs a therapist, but young boys sometimes wanna push their limits.

Maybe if he keeps it up tell him that boys that cannot pee in the potty wear diapers.  Put him in a diaper and make him know that only babies wear diapers.  he will get sick of not being to have the freedom of his regular pants and hopefully that will curb the behavior.

People may say not to call him a baby, but it is in an article on Parents magazine website that making them know the difference between big boys and babies helps them get to business in a big boy way.  Don't humiliate him by any means, but make sure he knows that is acts like a baby he will be treated like one.

Maybe also start a reward system for peeing in the potty again.  Rewards do wonders.. then eventually break it off by only once every 3 times he potties... to keep him seeing when he MIGHT get rewarded.

You need to be consistent. When you see him do this; grab him and say "oh, no, we go in the potty like a big boy".

Never, ever spank a child for peeing.

You need to be consistent!!! don't change the methods of dealing with this. You confuse him.

When he goes in the potty praise him and tell him he's a big boy.

clap you hands. Give him a sticker. Be consistent!

Make going in the toilet fun..reward him with stickers and tell him if he gets so many he will get a prize.
