My little brother and I have the same exact brithmark?

We look A LOT alike, if I was a boy, I'd look like him.

The weird thing is, we have the same little brown birthmark right above our noses. Why is this? (besides the fact that we're sibling) Is it very common?

you both inherited the genes from your parents that allow the birthmark. it would probably be fairly rare, but not unheard of.

Yes, you're related and share similar genetic makeup.   It's not rare or unusual.

My sister and me also have  the same birthmark in our right forearms, the very same shape. The strage thing about it is that we don't look similar, while she's slim, I'm chubby. She's got curly hair, while I have straight, she's darker and I'm lighter skinned, and many other differences.
