  1. reading is 3/8 math is 1/4=2/8 so 2/8+3/8=5/8

  2. just divide the bottum no. by the top no. and you'll find which one is more.

  3. Teach her the addition way - add the top two #s together (3+1=4) and the bottom two numbers (8+4=12) and that would be a fraction of 4/12.  You can then reduce it - how many 4s go into 12?  Your answer will be 1/that # (you have to do some of the work..)

  4. The answer is 5/8.

  5. The common denominator would be 8,   because 8,8,4,and4 all go into 8.

    So

Reading is 3/8 so it  would be the same

    Math would be 1/4- 4x2=8, so 1x2=2...making that 2/8

    History would stay 1/8

and Science would be 2/8 (work is the same as Math)

    ok,

    3/8

    2/8

    1/8

    2/8

    reading=3/8, and math =2/8     3+2...= 5....

so 5/8 students is ur answer

  6. I THINK ITS FIVE OVER EIGHT PLEASE DON'T BE MAD IF I'M WRONG1

  7. 5/8  theres 8 students 3 chose reading 2 chose math

  8. 1/4=2/8

    so it's reading-3/8

    math-2/8

    history 1/8

    science-2/8

so if i got right you want to know reading+math; that's 3/8+2/8=5/8

  9. 5/8

3/8 choose reading and 2/8(1/4 with commond denominator) choose math.

    Add 3/8 and 2/8 to get 5/8

  10. okay what you haev to do is devide the numerator(one on top) by the denomitor(one on bottom) then you will get a percent . use the percents to figure out your answer

    good luck!

  11. the answer is 5/8

first you have to make the denominators the same..in this case 8.  you multiply the 1 and the 4 by 2 and get 2/8.  then you add 2/8+3/8=5/8

  12. whats your question? we dont know how many students? we dont know how many chose what?

  13. Math and Reading together are 5/8 if I understand your question.
