Yesterday at my children Emma and Jaycee's school was Fine Arts Day, the kids did activitys and met actors and stuff. Well my kid's both have an acting class and Emma's coach was at the school talking about theatre to little kids. She came and asked Emma to help her teach the classes. Emma had loads of fun a missed no school work. I think it's cool that the coach did that to Emma and not some other student. Do you?

  1. u sound stuck up

    ....VERY stuck up

how wouldu feel if you kid was pretty much rejected by the coach

  2. Well, was Emma the only one that had him/her as her coack??? If so, I guess that was fair because Emma would be the only one that knew him/her... Though if it was something when there was a lot of kids there in her/his class that I wouldn't think that it wouldn't be fair.

  3. kinda i think its nice but unfair to the others

  4. I think that was very nice of them. =)

  5. Its either really nice or really cool...............or reeeeeaaaaly creepy

  6. yeahh.

  7. Kids are so misinformed about fairness in the world by their liberal teachers and others who do not want any judgement of people or ranking of people by ability.  There is no fairness in the world.  Those who are outstanding should be rewarded and those who are not should not be rewarded. You are right to be proud of Emma and her acheivement through recognition.  I hope she continues to develop her talent.

  8. Yea..that's pretty kool...is she going to become famous..lol..u never know!!  :)

  9. I think it is wonderful your daughter was rewarded for her hard work and talent. With children you can tell them things until you are blue in the face and they still may not hear you but Emma may have more of an impact on the other students being a peer.

I teach children's theater and often utilize the more talented and responsible students as assistants. They set a great example to the other students as well as giving me an opportunity to nurture an already wonderfully developing talent.

You should be very proud of your daughter. The coach would not have asked her to do this if she did not feel she was such a strong asset to the class.

  10. You are super stuck up why would you need someone else to answer this question for you you either think its nice creepy or  mean. It not that hard to make a decision you are the parent thats your choice. it is not up to Random people on the internet. It sounds more like you are trying to brag about how AMAZING your little girl Emma is. You shouldn't brag about this "accomplishment" especially sense your other kid Jaycee didn't get invited.

  11. YES!! I would be so proud!

My daughter is still super young, but if that happened to her, I'd be bragging about it all over the place!

  12. yes, it means theres a relationship between them that distinguishes your daughter from everyone else. emma's coach thinks of emma as her friend, while all the other kids are merely students.
