My little guinea piggy grawled?

I just got two giunie pigs yesterday and they are so cut. I was holding one last night and it started shaking (vibrating) and like grawling...does it hate me?

It doesn't hate you. It's just scared. Just give it some times. Be patient. :)

It is called purring, and it means they are content or happy look up guinea pig sounds on wikipedia and listen to the different sounds they make and what they mean!!!!

no ive had 8 hamsters and right now ive have 3 guinea pigs they do that all the time when there happy ive had them four years when they shake and prr there happy happy to help :)

It sounds like they were purring, its a little scary at first to hear them but it meens they're happy!

As the person before me said, it's a good thing. (: Like purring.

It's actually considered a mating gesture, as well - for example, if a guy guinea pig wanted to impress a lady guinea pig, he'd growl and shiver.

It also means they're happy.
