My little half-sister....?

She's an adult and so am I. We never knew each other growing up. We've recently made contact with each other. The first time I saw her, I melted. I never knew how beautiful she could be. I think I'm becoming infatuated with her. I want to hug her and kiss her all the time. And, I know this is wrong, but not a brotherly hug and kiss. I've read that this sort of thing happens from time to time with half-sibling who are reunited, but I never thought it would be me going through this.

What should I do?

You are right it is wrong. Just think of her as a sister and dump those feelings for her. Block it out some how. You need to do this because it is wrong to feel that way. Find someone else.

You are right- it is wrong. She is your half sibling- if she was your step-sibling thats different (but still weird) you have keep the fact in your mind that she is your sister--and just force yourself to not see her that way.

You've just got to ignore your love for her. No matter how much you do, it'll never work out and will end up hurting you, and maybe her. Nobody will understand and society will not like it. I'm sorry, I hope that you can get over it and still be close with her. If not, maybe you need to distance yourself a little and find a girlfriend who it's okay to be in love with. Maybe then you'll be able to be with your half-sister without feeling the need to kiss her.

Well this is tricky, but technically you guys are related by blood which makes this so so very wrong. I have heard of step siblings actually getting married and everything, but half-sibling is a whole other story. It is clearly pretty gross, so I think you should start going out and trying to meet some new people or something. Just because there are attractive people in your family doesn't mean you have to like them. You may just be taken away by her beauty, but that doesn't mean you want to marry her or anything. I think my brother is extremely cute, but nothing more as he is my brother. Just remind yourself of your guys' relationship, whether or not you two knew each other growing up. And maybe focus on some other women.
