My little kitten. got injured today.

Question

Today my little cousin accidentally shut the patio door on my little kitten. she immediately started siezureing and bled a little from her right ear. the vet says she is stable and looks ok now. I am being charged a ridiculous amount and i don't even truly know if she will be ok. i mean what happened was pretty serious.

what's your idea of a ridiculous amount? my cat was in one night and the bill came to £300-get insurance if you don't want to be faced with this in future.

What is your question?  Yes it sounds serious- possible a brain injury, and yes critical vet care is not cheap.  All the vet can say is your pet is stable for now, they can't predict the future

I agree with Doc's wife. What is it you are asking? Of course you had to take it to the vet and you have to pay for that service. Be grateful that the vet is saying it is stable and looks OK. Would you have preferred a more grim diagnosis? Many people coming in with their cats would love to hear those words being said to them and still have to pay the vet bills when their animals dies. No one can tell the future and the vet is giving you the best information he can at this time. Here is hoping that your kitten is OK and goes on to have a long healthy life.

Don't worry for now. Just think good thought (: I know it sounds silly and it will be ahrd to do so while your so upset.

I hope your kitten will be fine too, as it doesn't sound too bad as the vet has said that the Kittens stable for now.

And the fees of the vet will be high ofcoarse ):
