But does anyone know if he thinks its another baby, or by now he knows?

He is adorable it made my morning watching him I could scoop him up and steal him from you in the blink of an eye, what he is doing is perfectly natural he is showing love for another he has no real idea that it is him just another baby, and anyone who thinks he is showing a tendancy to be g*y needs there head testing and even if he was so bl@@dy what.

They usually self recognize at 24 months; right now he sees another baby and is merely curious and expressing himself by kissing the image.

I think he knows but he's just exploring the idea of the mirror, it's probably a novelty for him so he's having a little play to see what it can do :)

I'm not sure,he might know it's him and be doing it because he knows it gets a reaction,or he might genuinely think it's another baby.

I think he has a sense of "me" by now and knows his reflection is himself. He should stop doing this soon, but start again at about age 15 or 16.

No.  I'm pretty sure that he doesn't realize that it is himself.  In fact, from watching a documentary on babies.  He may not even realize that he is life, or alive, nor his reflexion is either as well.

His natural instincts is to smile, and when he sees his reflexion smiling, he continues to smile.

You can check if he knows whether it is himself or thinks he's kissing another baby.  Dab a little lipstick or paint onto his forehead.  When he sees it in the mirror if he tries to rub it off his own head then obviously he recognises that the mirror image is his reflection.  If he either ignores it or tries to rub it off the head of the baby in the mirror then he thinks he is playing with a friend.
