I sit here in my tree

And look for the biggest gap in the cage of branches

Through which the world to see

And the world flies by

But no one seems to see me

Yet here I am, who I am

That which no thing can change

Not the fear of the world as it flies through time

Nor the sadness I see through my eyes

And the tears that fall as I watch people die

Not the hatred that builds as I see the birds fly

For the fly so free

Far freer than me

Trapped here in my tree

  1. I like it. It's sort of like looking at the world through a third different perspective.

  2. i actually like it

  3. This is actually really good.

for some reason the line "yet here I am, who I am" really got to me.

    i dig it.

  4. its very peculiar, it looks like to me your trapped somewhere and nobody wants to help and as life goes on you continue to be forgotten.

  5. It sounds like you're trying to be deep and dark, but it's not working out.

Cut down on the rhyming though.
