My little rabbit just attacked my big rabbit. =[?

Question

i let them both out of their cages because they usual rub noses and just hangout with eachother. i have a small dwarf who is a girl and big rabbit who is a boy. well she latched on to him and like bit a chunk of fur off of him. we all started crying because we felt so bad for him because he was just trying to be nice. is he okay? hes not bleeding or anything. hes not gunna go thru shock or anything right?

sounds territorial to me.  as long as big bunny isnt injured you should have no reason to worry.  are they normally okay together and are they used to being out with each other?

i have two bunnies myself and the oldest (female) did not take to the other bunny, if you let them out together the oldest attacks the youngest - yet the youngest just wants to play.

keep an eye on them when they are out together and if this isnt uncommon, you might have to let them exercise seperatley.
