  1. go  wheat  free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food after 7

p.m.  People  achieve  marvellous  results  with it. Depending on your

initial  weight,  you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If you don't

eat  wheat  then you don't eat all those sticky, fatty goey cakes, you

don't  eat  junk  food,  and  you don't eat biscuits. But your diet is

still  balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to calculate points or

to buy special meals or plans.

  2. Caloric intake and excercise. Don't worry about all this evil fat bullshit as it's all propaganda. Insufficient fat intake affects all areas of you body and has serious consequences.

Okay, so, just in case anyone was thinking of going extreme...

Figure out her rough BMR, Basal Metabolic rate, how many calories she uses up for daily processes. Organise a routing of healthy varied diet, not a fad diet with a single food item the predominant ingredient. Everything, even fat, must be in a balance. Now cut back 200 calories or so from this amount, don't go crazy and starvation. That way she is eating 200 calories less than what she needs and losing 200 calories worth of weight which equals to i don't know how many grams of fat. Throw in exercise and it increases

This is where excercise comes in. If she's a lazy butt like me and would hate the idea of long stretches of running i would recommend interval training.

Long stretches of exercise burn fat for energy so while you are burning off fat through exercise you body sends signals to store fat for the next session, so it has fuel for next time. Not what we reallt want.

For interval training sprint hard out or run up and down stairs (i do it coz i'm too lazy to take my dog for a walk) for thirty seconds and then rest for 30-60 seconds. Complete rest, not as in walk around slowly, i mean as in sit on the floor and stretch your leg or something. Repeat this six times. I know, hard to believe you only end up doing 3 minutes of excercise but that's the beauty of it.

Because you place intense stress on your muscles in that short time it signals your body to develop muscles for the next session so you can work harder for next time with your new muscles, rather than store fat for fuel. Now that your body knows that it doesn't need to store fat, you will lose it!

I call it the couch potato work out. I lost 3 kilos in one month. Just make sure you don't excercise for more than 17 minutes because that is when your boddy starts burning fat (which needs it will store fat to replace fat being burnt). And by hard out i don't mean straining muscles and killing yourself. Just go at a fast pace that suits you. But make sure if your sister has bad knees like me she does it on a spin bike or consults a doctor. Do it one day then have the next day off, don't let her go overboard.

    Lots of water!

Good luck for your sister!  =]

  3. Exercise about three days per week and eat healthier. At her age, she should not be exercising too much as she might injure herself. She also should not cut out calories from her diet as she needs plenty of food for proper growth.
