At first, she began scratching it and it obviously became a lot worse. Then, it started growing around her fingers, and she said that she hasn't even scratched there, yet. What are these small bumps? They seem to grow in groups and are like the size of pimples but they are skin color.

What are they and what can I do to cure them?

  1. Whenever people don't know what something funky on their skin is...they call it eczema! Eczema is a generic term for dry, red, and/or itchy patches of skin.

It's possibly that eczema did cause something more serious called Actinic Keratosis or Hyper Keratosis. It usually appears on fair skinned people and looks thick and scaly and may cause crusty bumps to appear. The scaly or crusty part of the bump is dry and rough. The growth starts out as flat scaly areas, and later grows into a tough, pimple like areas.

    Don't worry! It is treatable!

Have her see a dermatologist. They can prescribe a lotion called Salex®. Over time it will help reduce the appearance of bumps and even helps soften and slough away rough areas of skin. It's around $100 dollars for 2 months worth but it works wonders.

    Hope this helps.

  2. sounds like it could be eczema... If these bumps break open and weep after itched.  I recently found a cure for mine.  Have her try eating the fresh blossoms of red clover it works the same day!  I was shocked to find it was the only thing that worked when I had tried everything alternative to cure it in the past 4 years!
