  1. Maybe when she is reading if she doesn't read the whole page she gets lost, I've had to reread whole chapters 2 or 3 times to process what it meant because I get lost in daydreams. If that makes any since to you.

  2. OCD or as it should be CDO(get it alphabetical)

  3. Sounds like OCD Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, I use to suffer from it, I use to wash my hands until they bleed or think certin things would happen if I did not do something right, I was lucky to grow out of it by age 13, i got it at about 10. Should check it out.

  4. It's just a bad habit.It'll go away as time goes by.Trust me i've had quite a few of'em,and they weren't pretty either.I don't even wanna remember.Everyone get's them,they're soooo annoying.

  5. Maybe she still hasn't quite begun to spur yet...

Give her time is my advice.

    Good luck!

  6. its most likely just because she is 12 and just a phase. my little sister is 15 and she does weird stuff like that too like if the volume is on an odd number she will freak out and she hates some words too. she isnt as bad as she used to be tho so i think its going away

  7. It sounds like OCD.

    Obsessions

       1. Recurrent and persistent thoughts, impulses, or images that are experienced as intrusive and inappropriate and that cause marked anxiety or distress.

       2. The thoughts, impulses, or images are not simply excessive worries about real-life problems.

       3. The person attempts to ignore or suppress such thoughts, impulses, or images, or to neutralize them with some other thought or action.

       4. The person recognizes that the obsessional thoughts, impulses, or images are a product of his or her own mind, and are not based in reality.

    Compulsions

       1. Repetitive behaviors or mental acts that the person feels driven to perform in response to an obsession, or according to rules that must be applied rigidly.

       2. The behaviors or mental acts are aimed at preventing or reducing distress or preventing some dreaded event or situation; however, these behaviors or mental acts are not actually connected to the issue, or they are excessive.

I have OCD i brush my teeth 15 times a day and its getting so bad my doctor told me if i dont stop my teeth will fall out. But you need to bring this to your parents attention so they can seek proper medical care. There are things out there that can help. Sometimes people grow out of them. I have quite a few things i do and i have days that are worse than others. But you need to talk to your parents for further assistance. Your a good sister for being concerned.
