My little sister started her period at 12 in april and has not had one since?

  1. Probably nothing. Periods are often erratic to start with. If she does not have another one soon yo may want to pay a trip to the doctor with her, but probably everything is just fine. It's always best to put your mind at rest though.

    Thanks for being a good big sister. It's often easier for girls to talk about things like this with a sister than with mom. You may want to have a word with mom yourself though


  2. When girls first their periods, they are irregular because your hormones are not on track yet. It will all fall into place, no worries. I got mine in January and didn't get it again until May, if anything I considered it lucky!!!  

  3. I wouldn't worry. My first and second were about 18 months apart. Then they were about two months apart for a little while. They did not become regular until I went on the pill at age 18.

  4. nothings wrong, its normal for periods to be few and far between at the start. it will come eventually dont worry, try and get her to not stress about it, that will keep it off longer
