  1. Well few tattoo shops require parental consent and most of them require the person getting tattooed to be 18 years or older... so unless you are her legal guardian or you get her a fake I.D., you couldn't even if you want to. By the way DONT!

She's too young. Why does it matter how old she looks or how pretty?

I agree, it seems you have some growing up to do yourself.

  2. it seems like you're the immature one.

i'd tell her to wait another year or two.

think of the consequences. do you think she's still want the tattoo ten, twenty years from now? most people regret having tattoos done.

  3. I wouldn't take her.  I would tell her to wait until she's 18.  My husband and I both have many tattoos, and I am a firm believer in waiting until you are of legal tattooing age prior to getting one.  I, for one, will not be taking my son or daughter to get a tattoo before they are 18.  It's so young to get something  put on your body permanantly.  Her thoughts and views are gonig to change so much by the time she's an adult, that something she thinks she likes now, she might hate later.  Not to mention she doesn't have a career path yet and having a tattoo might prove to be something she doesn't want in her chosen career.  14 is WAY too young in my opinion.  Not to mention, I don't know of any tattoo shop that will let an older sibling say it's ok for there under age sister/brother to get a tattoo.  It is always supposed to be authorized by her legal guardian - AND if this shop she wants to go to doesn't have that policy - maybe that's a good time to RUN!!  Hope this helped.

  4. From a guys point of view... Tattoos are ******* retarded. Why would such a pretty girl need something so ******* ugly on her? They dont add s*x appeal. They dont make you cool. Wtf? STFU and dont let her get one. And dont let yourself get one either. Its totally more original to not have a tattoo anymore. **** off all you tattoo wearing fools.

  5. BE A COOL SISTER >:]

let her get onee if she watns it . :x

  6. It is ILLEGAL in all states for minors to get tattoos without parent/guardian consent. In most states, even that is illegal. In the few states that allow minors to get tattooed, their parent/guardian HAS to be there. So, unless you have guardianship over your sister, no place should be tattooing her.

Your sister is way too young to have a tattoo...no matter how "mature" (which no 14 year old is really mature, they can be mature for their age, but they are not mature) and pretty she is.

Be smart and tell your sister to just wait.

  7. Your 18 and you can't see that she shouldn't get the tattoo? Her friend has one so she wants one, what is she going to get.. OMGZZ I LUVZ HANNAH MONTANA'S!!! ya she will regret it and she will blame you and you will feel like dirt if dirt had feelings.

  8. She is far to young to be having tattoos done. At least 18 is young enough to start with these, she could get one now and be regretting it by next year, so do all you can to discourage her from the idea.

  9. Age limits are imposed for a reason, generally. In this case, I would advice you to be the seemingly uncool sister and flatly refuse.

I mean, I'm speaking as a sixteen year old, so I'm obviously not terribly reliable, but I can't image feeling ready for a tattoo for another year, at least. My only real basis here is the same way I feel when I think about kids my age getting pregnant or when I realize twelve-year-olds smoke pot.

It's a little shameful and sort of horrifying.

That is to say, don't let her get one.
