my sister is 11, her name is Gina and she wants to know that where did the ancient Romans get the material from to make their clothes??

This is for her assignment...

Best place to look at it is her own text books. Or browse for the net. In general, Romans had a very great trading with countries like, India - for general and Silk clothes, China for silk, Iran (Persia) for warm clothes and carpets / ornamented clothing.
