My lost AC power adapter for my laptop had output of 18.5VDC, 4.9A, 90 Watts.?

My new adapter lists the output as 19VDC and 4.74 A.....is this compatible and safe to use?

dont go in for that adapter.. go only for the ones that your laptop manufacturer sells.. there are a whole lot of "things"..

but anyways...a laptop is a costly and a delicate piece of equipment.. if it were mine.. i wouldnt save 10 and loose 100..
