My lovies p**p has changed!!?

Question

My lovebirds' poo is now brown....not black and white.

What happened?

I feed them good food like fruits and vegetables...

Is there something wrong?

Well there's an outer ring of dark color and an inner ring of white. Depending on how much veggies the parakeet ate during the day, the p**p might be a bit watery or even green. But a parakeet should p**p several times a day and while it can sometimes be runny from too much veggies, it shouldn't *always* be runny.

it shouldnt be black and white in the first place, it should be watery, green, and white. dont over do the fruits and veggies, that could cause their droppings to be black. have a mixed diet of veggies [maybe with a little pasta], fruit, seeds, pellets, and nuts.

it is probably somthing they ate,

i had 2 lovies and one time they had red p**p but it turned out to be the raspberries they ate :)

if it continues for more than 3days consult in a vet and moniter what u are feeding them

+p**p shoudnt be runny, cause it would be diarhea
