My lower eye lid near the tear duct has been twitching on and off, and usually when touch it, or shut my eyes tightly. It's not continuous, but from reading many articles, they say it is due to stress and I don't think I'm very stressed out. I don't drink coffee at all, but I do like drinking iced tea frequently. Is this a normal twitching that will go away soon?

  1. MY FATHER HAD IT AND IT WILL GO AWAY IN A FEW days

  2. Sometimes it is natural for a persons eye to twitch from touching it . But i don'tt have that problem but even sometimes when i shut my eye tightly it twitches a little. So tightening it is probably normal. And maybe you just have very sensitive eyes so thats why when you touch it it twiches.

  3. its not from coffee or anything, its just that your getting an infection. dont worry its not a SERIOUS infection, its just from wearing other peoples eye make-up. i get it too! wash your eyes with cold water like open your eyes and hold cold water in your hands and then just duck your eyes in there and do it 2 a day and in about 4 days it will go away. im sure it will it does for me.

  4. Lack of sleep will do it to me sometimes. Very irritating, I know!

  5. Eye twitching is generally cause by stress..whether it is being sick, not enough sleep...or daily stress. If it continues you can try and see an Eye Dr...
