My lymphocytes count was 38% which is high..why?it should indicate infection,but i dont have any?

There can be medical deviation for any lab test + or - 1 standard deviation (or 10% or so). Tomorrow the count could be 40. Its just a snap shot of what happened at the time of the blood draw. For significance, the test has to be either 1. trended with a trend to abnormal or, 2. wildly abnormal
