My macbook is speaking to me, how do i turn it off?

i have the new macbook with leopard on it...my dog stepped on the keyboard by accident and she only weighs like 5 pounds but enough to click things and now my computer is talking to me whenever i type something in ichat it says every letter that im typing! how do i make it stop? and when i try to change the volume with the keys meant for it it just takes me to dashboard? how do i make it stop?

  1. You're crazy u do realize that.


  2. It's Called VoiceOver, included with "Tiger" and "Leopard". Press Command+F5 to activate/deactivate it system wide.

  3. Try turning the Narrator off...i think the narrator has been switched on...your mac aint speaking, it is the software which is....
