My machine locked up

Question

My Janome sewing machine is less than 4 years old. It has frozen up on me. I don't even get the motor to budge, by hand or by pressing my foot on the peddle.I was in the process of a sandscarf sewing project for the folks in the military and the needle stopped in place. I wasn't able to continue. Can anyone help? Finding a sewing machine repair service locally is proving to be a problem. I need my machine to work.
