My maid of honor will be 17 1/2 when i got married? am i wrong to have someone that young?

She is my oldset niece and she is more like a little sister instead and my family since i am wrong i should of used one of my older sisters what should i do? i also feel closer to my niece then my sisters

  1. No, there's nothing wrong with that.  My younger sister was my MOH and she was 16.  Depending on what state you live in, she may not be able to sign the marriage license, but that's not a big deal.  Most states require that the witnesses be 18, but some states (like Minnesota) only require the person to be 16.  If she can't sign it, you can have another guest or a bridesmaid sign it.
