  1. if they mate in this other tank then they will do it when they are ready just be patient good luck

  2. Your betta is probably more comfortable in his own tank, that's why he builds a bubblenest there but not in the spawning tank.  How long has he been in the spawning tank?  Give him some time to get used to it.  Is there a plant or something in his own tank?  Sometimes they like to have something to attach their bubblenest to.  Make sure he can see the female but don't have her in the same tank as him until he has a bubblenest ready for her.  The presence of the female in the tank may be freaking him out if he's not ready to breed with her yet.

  3. The eggs aren't coming out, that's her breeding tube. If he only makes a nest in his tank then make that the spawning tank instead. And his tank can be the spawning tank. And don't have the female in the same tank as him right now. Make sure the female has her own tank. If she does, that's great! If you NEED to have the male build a nest in the spawning tank, wreak his current nest. Put him in the spawning tank, and put the females tank by the spawning tank. Feed them a varied diet. Do you know what your going to do with all the babys? Buy them a TON of tiny bowls, or sell them to a pet store. Let the pet store know that you want to sell them some bettas. Don't just come in one day a bunch of bettas trying to sell them. You should plan this out more.
