  1. I have a german shepherd boy dog (who is also 5 months), who has the same problem. But im not sure about his nipples but he has red things, all on his back and on his privates.

We took him to the vets, and they said it was 'Puppy Acne' Its apparently common and it can be cured. You should take him to the vets, and make sure its puppy acne and have some flea treatment & an injection.

  2. I suspect i you have found a flea that he is suffering from flea allergy dermatitis. The best way to treat this would be to get a good quality flea product from your vet. If you are in the uk and your vet is closed then you may be able to buy a frontline spray from a pet shop. I would avoid anything else from the petshop as from my experience they tend to be ineffective. Apply some calming cream such as calomile lotion to his itchy bits and keep them clean. If you suspect any skin infection then I would recommend seeing your veterinary surgeon.

  3. Some pups suffer with acne, this could be something similar.
