  1. Don't feed bunnies stone fruit, it's bad for them.  The stones contain a poisonous substance, I'm not sure whether it gets into the apricot flesh as well but I have looked it up before and many site say not to feed bunnies stone fruits.  Ring a vet who knows about rabbits and ask if that could be the cause.  Otherwise it could be bladder or kidney infection like the others have mentioned.  If he is off his food or looking lethargic you should probably take him straight to the vet anyway.  Hope that helps.

  2. He may be having Kidney failure, until his urine turns normal colored only give hay, take away pellets, and no extra fruit.

BTW: Fruit can give diarrhea , so only give small little bits and only occasionally, also veggies aren't good for him

  3. Rabbits' urine varies in color from clear to yellow to brown to bright red. This is usually not a cause for alarm unless there are additional signs, such as sitting and straining to urinate, loss of appetite or excessive teeth grinding. When you see red urine, don't panic; just keep your eyes open for other signs that may indicate a problem. The color is most likely from something else fed earlier. My rabbit's urine was red after eating carrots, so no worries:)

  4. Sounds like a bladder or kidney infection take him to a vet. An apricot would not change colour of urine.
