My maltese about 8#, I gave him a couple of canned peach slices,was that OK?

If the peaches were OK, your maltese should be alright, and should feel lucky to have someone like who who cares.

Well....I am 100% Maltese and I hope you aren't going to give me just canned peach slices for my dinner.  I would much rather have rabbit cooked in wine or lampuki fish pie....or the five cheese pie with peas if thats OK with you     :D

It'll be fine.  Our dog, which is 1/2 Maltese, will eat almost "anything".  Drives us nuts sometimes.  Have to watch her carefully so she doesn't ingest something harmful.

I certainly would not feed him that again, it has way too much sugar. Give him apple slices or baby carrots if you want to give him fresh snacks.
