When I touch the "bone" down there in the rear floor of my mouth, next to the molar area on left, it is so sensitive. It is DEEP down in the floor of my mouth. It feels very different from the right side and has been having a dull ache. It almost aches into my ear it feels like. I know a lot about the mouth as I work for an oral surgeon (and I'll get him to check too). But, I was wondering if anyone has ever had something and what it was when you found out. Thanks.

  1. If it aches to the ear. then I would suspect nerve involvement from an infection around one of the molars.

  2. It could be wisdom teeth or food stuck between teeth, see a dentist asap
