My mascara looks weird when I put it on?

(Sorry I've asked this before, but there are pictures now)

I recently bought Maybelline Define-A-Lash Mascara. I'm kinda beginner at mascara but I've used it before once or twice. Anyways, love the mascara wand and everything, but still when I put it on .. it kind of looks.. spidery? I'm not sure how to explain it but it doesn't look nice at all, not like other girls'. I use an eyelash curler by the way (no problems with that). Why does it look so weird and what can I do to fix it?

^Also, I bought Cover Girl Volume Exact and the same problem. Am I doing something wrong? Also if you could recommend some mascaras, I don't mind expensive either.

Forgive me for the lack of sharpness in the pictures, but it's pretty hard to take pictures of your eyelashes. And yeah, I know I'm not the best at putting on mascara but still, I'm pretty sure it sholdn't look like this:

I've notticed this happen to me once or twice, and i also noticed that it normally happens when the bottle of mascara is new. but when it's getting older and a little clumpier, it makes my lashes look fuller and less seperated and "spidery" like you mentioned, so i'd keep trying, and praticing, and putting on a lot so it all kinda comes together instead of having little defined lashes, like you described.

get eithe clinique OR rimmel Glam Eyes.

maybe u should try using no mascara and just curling them....?

As you're swiping your lashes, slowly wiggle your hand from left to right. This keeps lashes from clumping together.

1st of all get better mascara

2nd of all it just takes practice
