If a quitter never wins and a winner never quits where does quitting while you are ahead come in?

  1. If a winner never quits and you quit, regardless of where you are in the competition,  then you've won nothing and you are a quitter.

    You aren't a winner until you've won. If you're gambling and you quit while you're ahead, then you have won and you have quit taking further chances. If you're in a race and you are winning but then suddenly quit, then you are a quitter, not a winner.

    Quitting while you are ahead comes in the same place as a quitter who never wins.

    Quitting is quitting no matter if you do it while you are behind or ahead.

    A quitter never wins because it means you're giving up.

    If you quit while you're ahead, you've already won and therefore you are the winner...quitting...and then you're not the winner anymore but you still won?
