It depends where you live. It is an offence in the UK, but the worst which could happen would be a fine. Having said that, I have worked in the criminal justice system for 17 years and not seen any minor prosecuted; it is usually the supplier! I think the worst will be a letter to you and/or your parents. At the end of the day, it is not the most serious transgression in the world - your parents might shout at you and punish you, but you will grow up still and leave home make a new life. Someone, somewhere, died before their time while I was typing this. So try to put it in perspective, it is not the end of the world (hope that didn't sound too preachy; it wasn't meant to.).
