My max bench press is 100 pounds what kind of sets should i be doing?

  1. do 65lbs as much as you can.


  2. 1st set: 85 X 7

    2nd set: 90 X 5

    3rd set: 95 X 3

  3. do 5x5 of 90

  4. well since your max is 100 lbs , you might want to star with 65 lbs then add on til you reach 100 which should be the last set ,basically I think 5 sets of 12 reps .however you will eventually need to add on more weight .
