My media card in my camera worked fine, but now it says it needs to be formatted??

Question

When I try to format it in the Kodak camera that I always have used, it says the card is unable to be formatted. Do I need to replace that card? Or do I have another option?

Check the card to make sure it is unlocked. If it is unlocked you can try and reformat it on your computer. Put the media card in a card reader and attach it to your computer. After formatting it on your computer, then try and reformat it on your camera. If it's still not able to connect, it's time to replace the card.
