My memory card for my camera..

Question

i put it into my computer to save all the pictures . how do i save them? nothing is popping up or anything... please help me! oh and i have a hp computer.

click the my computer icon on your desktop.

the card should be shown as a drive on your pc.

just copy the files from the card to a folder on your hard drive.

Assuming that you're running on Windows,

go to my computer

look for the drive icon that represents your card

make a new folder in whatever directory you want

copy and paste into the new directory

make sure all the images copied over

take the card, place it back into the camera, format in camera

goto your mem drive : Ctrl+A and Ctrl+C

goto your drive : Ctrl+V

you go to my computers and then youll see a memory card sign that wasnt there then you make a new folder and copy and paste them in there.

You can go to My Computer and you should see an additional icon. It may have name or it will read, "Removable disk". Sometimes it will appear with a name. If not, remove card and put it back into the computer. Then check for the new icon on My Computer.

You can also check if it is plugged using the icon bar on the bottom of your screen. There are small icons for volume control, firewall, etc, etc. There should be a one with a green arrow. Click on it and you should see the card there.

When you open the card, it will open in a window. To download, you can just copy the files in the card and  paste it to a location on your computer. If you want to delete the images from the card while doing so, you can cut and paste it.
