My memory card says theres no memory space, in yet, theres no files on the memory stick..?

its a sony memory stick, on a sony cybershot camera,

It has been doing this for a while, but it didnt take all the memory space for no reason..what do i do? PLEASE HELP ITS MY MOMS CAMERA AND SHE WILL BE Ped!

agrree, format the stick.

I had similar problem with what are now old ZIP discs, disc almot empty but says not enough room, i used to format them often, problem solved

Make sure you've copied all your pictures to your PC before your format the memory stick!!

Try to format the memory card! I think this shoul solve the question.
