My microsoft won't reconize our internet HELP!!?

my internet will work on my apple but not my microsoft, it is comcast and it is the wired not wireless, my microsoft worked with my verizon but not with my new comcast!!

you need to reset your modem.

If you have Comcast Digital Cable, you have on demand (ch 1) and you can go to help and services / internet / to watch the video on how to do this.

If you have Comcast Digital Voice You will need to unplug your modem, then pull out the battery...

wait for 30 seconds

Put the battery back, then plug it back in.

If you do not have comcast digital voice

Simply unplug the modem

wait 30 seconds

then plug it back in.

If you are trying to use them on both computers at the same time, you may need to reset your switch / router as well.

If this problem persists call 1800 Comcast

Check your configurations. Probably it is still set to work on Verizon. Check IP addresses, DNS and such. This information is provided by your ISP (in this case Comcast, you can call 1-800-COMCAST)
