  1. YOu can not know for sure whether synthetic hormones are in the milk you buy because there is no way to test for it. Farmers only have to sign an affadavit that says they aren't using it, there is no way to tell.

Milk has hormones in it. So do many many foods. Soy is very very high in hormones, much more of a concern than anything in milk.

  2. I would say you can only trust your milk to not have Rbst, and that is questionable. I even contacted "organic Valley" but they never got back to me...

  3. You don't.

The only thing you "know" for sure is that they do not use SYNTHETIC hormones with their cows.

NATURAL hormones might very well be used.

But what's the problem?  Your body uses natural hormones all the time.  In fact, you'd be dead without them.

And the COW makes and uses natural hormones, too.  In fact, that is what tells a cow's body to make milk -- hormones.  Without hormones, you wouldn't have any milk.

You can't get by without hormones. But you don't have to buy products that use too many either.
