My miniDV camcorder will not upload videos to my pc.?

It worked until just last week. I had used this fire wire thing to upload videos. My pc seems to read the camcorder but comes up with this error message that says "there is an error and you can not upload videos.

  1. You may have a bad firewire cable. Just in case check the manufacturer support site for your camcorder & peruse the FAQ section. Good luck!!
