  1. Yep, infected. Rub it with clean hands, like massage-like and your tonsils.

Rubbing can take the swelling down and sometime fix them up in my experience. I do that when I get sick too. They seem to hold on to bacteria...

If it gets worse, youll have to go to the dentist for anti inflammitory and antibiotics.

Then they'll figure out what's wrong.

  2. Okay sweetie I was there just last week. I hurt so bad I cried for three days, I could not open or close my mouth...I had an infection in my wisdom tooth. I have been on antibiotics for a week or so now, I am having surgery tomorrow (I am freakin out man) to remove all 4 of them in a hospital under general anesthesia. I have to do it this way because I waited so long, and made things worse. By waiting so long I mean years of minor infections, getting better and then all was well. Well this time it was the worst and I decided to see the dentist who sent me to an oral surgeon who said I have bone loss in my jaw! I am 36, so don't wait that long!!! Until you get to the dentist use Anbesol, Motrin, salt water rinse like 6 times a day, warm water, not cold, and put a hot towel on the side of your face where the tooth is, and you can also chew gum, it softly massages the gum. You probably got food stuck in there and can't get it out, which caused an infection. Have your Dad take you to the dentist. Hope you feel better!

  3. Could be your Wisdom Teeth. When you push on the gums-you are pushing you gum against the top to the tooth. Ouch!
