  1. I NEED MORE INFORMATION.some students

are slow learners and teachers just don't have time. I THINK  you should go to summer school to

make up what you don"t understand.IF YOU GO TO A NOTHER SCHOOL.YOUR RECORDS FOLLOW YOU..they may have a charter school classes for slow learners.

  2. talk to the teacher and if possible, go to summer school.

  3. Take Summer School if your school offers it.

    Hope this helps,

    Would rather be deer hunting

  4. I'd have you tested.  Some schools are different than others.  My Dad was in the military and I went to ALOT of schools.  I had the same history book in 6th, 8th and 10th.  talk about bored the third time around even if I got good grades.  i even had the same workbook which luckly I kept from all.  LOL

Talk to the school as far as maybe putting you in the class you should be in then next year she can repeat you.

By the way, I made my son repeat a grade and it helped him a lot.

  5. I think you should because once you get behind it is very hard to catch up and some kids give up on even trying.for example if you don't learn how to add first you are totally lost when you get to multiplication only an example but think about it.once your behind its not easy to move on to the next step.whats another year in  school trust me those are the good old days you don't want to get out into the real world to soon.

  6. Do not repeat.

Ive had to repeat a grade and that was horrible. In the long run, you'll get out of school quicker and it'll be over sooner.

If you are getting paasing grades, take it and run.

  7. Some things to think about.

Are you one of the oldest or youngest students in your grade?

Are you more or less mature physically than the other students?

Are more or less emotionally mature than the other students in your class?

Take those things into consideration when looking at your scholastic level.  If you are older and more mature than your peers you may think about getting tutoring and working harder.  Doubling up on assingments.  I had a daughter in your situation and she chose to work hard and catch up, she is a Jr. in high school and a straight A student now, thanks to her hard work.

If you are less mature and your friends tend to be younger than you then being held back may be a good fit.  If you have good friends in the school you presently go to, think about staying put.  Your friends will still be your friends.  Unless your friends are part of the problem.

    Good luck.

  8. Get a tutor over the summer... Study hard and try to make up whatever you are not excelling at.

They have all kinds of summer school classes.

Call your local college or university and see if you can get some student that needs extra summer cash to tutor you.

If you feel you should redo the grade then do it. It is better to be held back then to keep falling behind if you move on.

A LOT of people repeat a grade... It is nothing to be ashamed of.
