depends on why they are splitting up

ask each parent alone why theyre breaking up and then compensate for it if you want them to stay together, ie give them advice, maybe set up a romantic evening neither know abpout etc.

you get more money spent on you when theyre apart tho apparently cos they fight over you.

I am so sorry about you parents breaking up.  Sometimes people just fall out of love and instead of working through their problems, they take the easy way out and get a divorce.

What most people don't understand is they will have the same problems married to someone else.

They will both still love you for you are not their problem.  So try not to take side continue to love them both.  The judges usually gives the child to the mother since she is the one that game birth to the child.  If the child is I believe 13 and older, they can decide for themselves which parent they want to live with.  

I know you are hurting and miserable now but you will eventually get use to it.  A lot of children do.  Who knows they could still get back together.

Wendy dear first of all it's not your fault at all. At this point all you can do is pray! Pray that they will work things out and stick together. Pray that if they don't God will help you get through it all. Wendy I will pray for you too girl. It's so so so so hard. Please take care and never ever blame yourself.

Sorry honey, but odds are there's nothing you can do. The love's just not there any more. It doesn't reflect how much they love you at ALL - you're still going to be their sun, moon and stars - but if it's not working they'll probably be better off and happier apart.

It's tough, it sucks, but it's life.
