My mom called the cops on me

well heres the full story

I got a car about a month ago 2400$ and it ran perfect. i had it sitting in my driveway like for almost a month i started it a few times because i was excited to get it running. I started it last night and it wouldnt start. I was so upset. It starts but like not fully, you have to hold the gas down in order to keep it started. otherwise itll stall. I;m so depressed i wasted every dollar i have on it, and the title was put in both our names. The car is now in the middle of my driveway where she can barely park her car. I was so upset i started messing up my room, and so she got pissed we got into an argument and she called the cops. WHAT CAN SHE DO?? im not enrolled in hs anymore? is there anything she can do about it?? can she get my arrested.. There was a cop near my house when i ran out when i got so pissed. he told me to come and talk to him but i didnt, and ran in the woods I am now at the library what should i do???

and i know 17 year olds cant live on their own... because we cant get a contract?

Okay try to calm down,I doubt you will be arrested for messing up your room unless you physically attacked your Mom? If so call her up apologize promise you will NEVER do that again. If you did or didn't do anything to hurt her physically still call her before you go home to straighten things out maybe from a friends place tell her your sorry ask her WHY did she have to call the cops?

If you still feel uneasy to go home do you have a friends house you can stay at or a relatives?

Your car will run again it doesn't sound too serious maybe it needs gas?

The most she can do is kick you out.  17 year olds can live on their own, I know because I did.  If you aren't working and paying her rent, you should be in school.

I really doubt teh cops or teh court will take much legal action agianst you alone.

dude never buy a car below 5000 dollars there all junk and are you bipolar because it sure seems like it it's not even a big deal you should've never ran into the woods anyway, and why the h**l haven't you driven your car yet

Go back home and talk to your mother.  Talk to the cop too.  You need to listen to the adults who care about you.  You are probably as mad at yourself as anyone.  Running away won't solve any problems.  Go home and try to stay calm and talk.  Be nice to your poor mother.  I'm sure she is at her wits end about what to do that will help you.  

I am impressed that you got the car running.  If you are not attending high school then go get a job working for a car mechanic.

Grow up. Adults don't react that way to problems. Actually you can live on your own if your emancipated and can support yourself. You've only got until your 18th b'day when your parents are fully responsible for you and you mom can put you out if she wants to.

Now about that car, it's only a month old, does the Lemon Law apply in your state? Time to act like an adult and try to fix your problem.
